Pretending to eat my play dough pies and cakes, helping me to learn how to use my imagination
Walking me on his feet when he came home from a long tiring day at work when I was little
Taking me to the mountains many times, introducing me to G-d’s beauty not seen in West Texas
Reading the Bible to me every night before tucking me in
Teaching me to pray
Singing, singing, and more singing
Making me feel better when I cut my foot and had to get stitches
Driving me around to throw newspapers early every morning before he went to work
Believing in me when I don’t believe in myself
Working hard at everything he does, which has taught me good work ethics and determination
Showing me how to save money for dreams
Taking me to an auction when I had never been to one
Teaching me how to be a giving and caring person by his example
Drinking coffee with me after we finished the paper route - I felt grown up
Working on our stamp and coin collection together
Praying for me to become a decent person all those years I didn’t seem to be heading in that direction
Driving me to college and getting me settled in the dorm
Loving me always
Forgiving me for wrecking his car
Buying me a horse and teaching me how to ride her without being scared
And for so many more things...
For being the very best Daddy in the world!
I love you, Daddy!
I am blessed to have you in my life.
I thank G-d that He chose you to be my special Daddy.
